Standard International (SI) Units must be used consistently throughout the manuscript.

The main text must be organized into the following sections:

Introduction

The Introduction should provide a clear and focused overview of the research background and context. It should state the objectives of the study and briefly indicate whether the aims of the article were successfully achieved. The Introduction should lead logically to the methodology and should not be an exhaustive literature review.

Materials and Methods

This section must provide sufficient detail to enable other qualified researchers to independently reproduce the study. It should include:

  • The overall design of the study and description of all materials used.
  • A clear and detailed description of all mathematical methods, models, and analytical procedures employed.
  • The type of analysis used including any relevant computational details.
  • If well-established methods and protocols are used, authors may reference published descriptions but must still provide enough information for the manuscript to be understood independently.
  • For studies involving human participants a statement detailing ethical approval and informed consent must be included in this section.

Results, Discussion and Conclusions

These sections may be presented in one of the following ways:

  • Separately as three distinct sections.
  • Combined as a single Results and Discussion section.
  • Combined as a Discussion and Conclusions section.

In these sections authors should:

  • Clearly describe and explain the outcomes of their mathematical analysis.
  • Explain how the results relate to the research hypothesis or objective presented in the Introduction.
  • Provide a concise and critical discussion of the implications of the findings in relation to previous related studies.
  • Suggest potential future directions for mathematical research in the area.

Author Contributions

All manuscripts with more than one author must include an Author Contributions section clearly describing each author's specific role and contribution using the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) system.

Example Author A conceptualized the study and developed the mathematical methodology. Author B performed the formal analysis and numerical computations. Author C drafted and revised the manuscript. All authors read and approved the final version.
